Brady Moon is a PhD student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Dr. Sebastian Scherer. Previously, Brady graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in electrical engineering. During his undergrad, he directed a statewide underwater robotics competition, impacting over 800 K-12 students annually. His passion is to improve the quality of people’s lives through robot autonomy. He’s obsessed with great design, innovation, and continual learning. His research is primarily focused on motion planning, machine learning, and autonomy.
